Standard Duty Conveyors |
|

Morray offers the total solution for pallet conveying, from design inception to installation. Pallet conveyors make up a large part of most palletising systems. The standard pallet roller conveyor is manufactured to suit your layout and is individually built to fit your specification. Morray only make conveyors to suit and do not use low quality “component” conveyors. The heavy duty design incorporates galvanized rollers and manufactured with most surfaces at 45° to reduce the build up of product on the conveyor. This is important in food quality applications where cleaning time is much reduced. Morray also manufacture chain conveyors and roller to chain transfer units for changing direction easily. |
Heavy Duty Belt Conveyors |

To accommodate the increased use of “tunnel” FIBC sacks and the need to reduce the use of pallets Morray manufacture a range of Belt Conveyors to handle this type of sack. |
Pallet Pushers |
|

When transferring a pallet from one direction to another there are three options, if the pallet is empty it can be pushed at 90° or you will need either a chain transfer unit or a rotating turntable (see below) Empty pallet transfer is carried out by a motor driven pusher tied into the control circuit to make sure only one pallet is moved at once. Morray have installed many of these units on aggregate, adhesive, chemical and food palletising lines. |
Tray Applicators & Erectors |
|

For protection during transport some products require cardboard collars or cuffs applied to the pallet at the palletising station. Morray have developed a range of units to dispense and erect flat trays and collars automatically, then whilst palletising is taking place the unit keeps the tray centered and open.

Slip Sheet and Top Sheet Applicators |
|

Morray can supply slip sheet applicators for either cardboard or plastic film. The standard unit picks up single pre-cut sheets and applies them to the pallet pre loading point. This can also be done by the robot with a special attachment fitted to the hand to pick the sheets’ and place them either on the pallet or between selected layers during stacking. |
Pallet Magazines |

Morray supplies two different types of pallet dispenser- the first is a sprag dispenser and the second is the fork type. The fork truck style dispenser will handle many different pallet sizes and is ideal if you regularly change your pallet size and style. The sprag type is a more cost effective option for regular sized pallets. |
Turn Tables |
|

When you need to change the movement of pallets by 90° degrees but still need to have the same leading edge you cannot use a transfer unit, like a pallet pusher or chain transfer, so a turntable is required. Morray manufacture the turntable to give effective transfer from one line to another. The turntable is also used when consolidation of several palletising systems down to a single outfeed location is required.

Shuttle Cars |
|
![]() |
Shuttle cars, or shuttle conveyors can be used to move pallets from a production line across an open space to a second line or to collect pallets from several production lines and return them to a single line, for outfeed or wrapping for example. Morray make both mains electric and battery operated units. Battery powered units are used where either a catenary lead or floor mounted power rails are not an option. They are also totally independent of the rest of the system. Where access is not required across the shuttle area the standard electric units are a more cost effective solution. |
Rotary Wrappers |
|
![]() |
Morray can supply a wide range of rotary wrappers to suit your requirements. From simple manual application machine through to fully automatic ring wrappers. For simple and stable pallets a rotary machine will suffice but if the product is unstable then a ring or rotating arm machine will be needed. Morray can also supply top sheet applicators for either dust or water tight protection.

Stretch and Shrink Hooders |
|

For total pallet protection a stretch hooder is the most complete and attractive way to cover your pallets. Also by stretch hooding, pallet labels applied to the product can still be read by scanners through the film. Morray can supply and install stretch and shrink hooding units depending on the pallet specification and your requirements. |
